I feel like the fully charge videos have gotten a little less professional of late.

Test drove one, sparse interior and no tactile controls wasn’t for us. I don’t wish to place 50k on a car to then have to get used to it! So many other cars to choose from with much better interiors. Each to their own I suppose.

I was thinking of getting an EV until i read this. Statistics from Motorpoint show that only 30% of EV owners part-exchanging their car in the past year chose to buy another electric car, with 36% opting for petrol, 11% diesel and 23% hybrid. Just bought a Toyota hybrid instead, due to FOFR - fear of future regret.

Still a bit concerned over the battery degrading and depreciation but will probably get a Tesla next year. Good review even if it was a bit gushing. Not sure how good there are for the environment though. If Tesla manage to get to a £25,000 and it goes north of 250 miles it could be my next car.

Less regen is something I noticed on my LRM3 (highland) coming from a 2021 LRMY. I wish I should make it more aggressive, but don’t think it’s adjustable anymore.

Smart to make a model with a smaller battery. Many folks seldom drive as much as 100 miles in a day, and would like a smaller (lighter, cheaper) battery pack. More makers would do well to offer lower-range models.

This was much better than a scripted show. They displayed their actual enthusiasm and enjoyment. Nothing forced, the feelings just flowed out naturally.

You get over the buttons on the wheel and gear selector pretty quickly after you drive it. Way over complained about.

If you want to adjust regen % you have to do this in track mode.

Why not do the blinkers like the Ferrari where u have real buttons on the wheel near your thumbs. I see no problem having a few real switches.

Using screen for gears will be a pain when parking but otherwise will be fine, especially given it works out the most likely gear and is accurate a lot of the time. So if you are in your garage sit in and go.

Incredible car! I have the LR refreshed Highland model 3. So comfortable and quiet inside. Build quality is superb. DONT worry about turn signals on steering it's so much faster than a stalk.

EVs are junk after the battery warranty expires that's why the value drops like a stone. £12k if battery fails is makes car worthless.

You adjust regen with your foot. If you release the speeder fast, you get full regen and if you release it slowly you get mild regen. It’s very precise and you don’t have to change focus from the road or let go of the steering wheel, so it’s much safer. Quite clever and by far a better solution than paddles behind the steering wheel and other nonsense solutions to mimic an old combustion super car.

I think a spoof with Robert and Jack in a faux model called the "chin wagon" (an estate edition) would be hilarious. Thank you all for thirteen years of helping us be up-to-date.

But can it run on the track without overheating? It isn't suitable for public roads due to the lack of turn signal stalks.

The reason they got rid of the stalks is because they are so confident that FSD is here that they don't want to add hardware to a car that will be totally redundant in the near future.
